How to Commission Bespoke Jewellery

From remodelling sentimental family heirlooms that have been slowly gathering dust, to that one-of-a-kind statement piece (& pretty much everything in-between) I’m here to breathe life into your fledgling ideas and make your widest dreams manifest!
Whatever the project, its a journey we’ll take together, working closely throughout, giving you confidence at each stage of the process in your very own beautifully bespoke creation.
BEGINNING YOUR BESPOKE JOURNEY
The process starts by talking through your ideas, styles you like and visions you may have in mind. Whether you have a clear idea of what you would like, just want guidance on design and materials, or would like inspiration, I will guide you through.
You can also browse through my collections, sketchbook or bespoke gallery to see some of the design possibilities which can then be made truly unique to you.
PENCIL TO PAPER
The initial meeting will help me to clarify your needs and establish a brief to begin the design process. This is one of my favourite parts of bespoke creation. Drawing has always been a joy to me and I take great pride in my designs
You will be closely involved throughout this stage, as the design begins to take shape, I work with clients around the world and can email sketches and photographs, meet via video call or in person in London as we refine the design together.
SOURCING THE PERFECT DIAMONDS AND GEMS
I am able to source beautiful stones to suit any project and budget, using conflict free diamonds only, sourced from trusted suppliers with whom I have been working for many years. I especially enjoy working with unusual cuts and will happily cut your chosen stones to suit specific requirements.
One of the many amazing things about the commissioning process is that you have the rare opportunity to create something truly exceptional. I can provide a wide selection of gemstones, allowing you the full range of expression to create the piece you’ve been dreaming of.

Commissioning allows you to become part of the entire design process from concept to creation and fully appreciate the craftsmanship as your piece progresses.
The jewellery-making process is fascinating and exciting. I love sharing this part of the journey and will document the journey by sending you updates along the way.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Each project is unique, but the centre stone and materials will be the major determining factor. I will provide quotes for your designs in a range of precious metals and source a variety of stones - both of which will allow a broad price range from which to work.
A small deductible deposit will be charged before the initial designs are created, and once the final design is agreed a 50% deposit will be required. The final payment will be upon completion.
ALL GOOD THINGS…
Every bespoke piece presents its own particular design challenge and these precious objects take time to create. It is important to remember that the commission process is often not a quick one, and completion time can sometimes be an estimate rather than a firm date.
I generally recommend eight weeks for a bespoke commission although this may vary. However, if you have an urgent deadline, it may sometimes be possible to fast track the process.
